The Institute of Health Science, Research, and Administration Nigeria (IHSRAN) celebrated a momentous occasion on 7th October, 2023 as it hosted her spectacular Induction and Investiture Ceremony at Joenagi College of Health Technology, 15, Dam Rd Indi-Abeb, off Ogoja Rd, Obudu, Cross River State. The event was attended by a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, members, and esteemed guests, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s history. The highlight of the event was the opening remarks delivered by Dr. Celsus Akomaye, President of Institute of Health Science, Research and Administration Nigeria (IHSRAN). In his address, Dr. Celsus Akomaye emphasized the organization’s commitment to excellence and its dedication to fostering growth and innovation globally.
The event proceeded with an enlightening lecture on ENTREPRENEURSHIP RESILIENCE AND ADAPTABILITY IN TODAY’S RAPIDLY CHANGING WORLD delivered by a renowned expert in the field; Dr.Ntamu Ekahe-Joseph Abua. The lecture focused on Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship, and Management. The importance of digital skill acquisition in digital entrepreneurship, harnessing AI and ML for entrepreneurial resilience and adaptability, among other things, thereby providing valuable insights and knowledge to the attendees.
One of the anticipated moments of the event was the induction of new members into Institute of Health Science, Research, and Administration Nigeria (IHSRAN). A distinguished group of professionals across various disciplines, consisting of thirty-six (34) inductees, were formally inducted into the organization. Additionally, about 15 awards were presented to outstanding members for their exceptional dedication and contributions to the Institute of Health Science, Research, and Administration Nigeria (IHSRAN). The presentation of awards was met with thunderous applause, acknowledging the remarkable achievements of these individuals.
The event culminated with a moving speech by Ass. Prof. Dr. Oruikor Gabriel Jeremiah, Vice President of the Institute of Health Science, Research, and Administration Nigeria. Ass. Prof. Dr. Oruikor spoke passionately about the organization’s vision for the future and the collective strength of its members in achieving new heights. He also mentioned that the upcoming publication of Journal of Global Issues and International Studies JOGIIS; the journal of IHSRAN, is currently calling for papers for publication from multidisciplinary sections of research. He emphasized that the journal was one avenue out of many through which IHSRAN has set out to impact society with innovative and contemporary approaches.
