Institute of Health Science, Research and Administration (IHSRAN) is fully accredited by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, and licensed by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAMA 2020) to be the largest professional and academic body in Nigeria responsible for the promotion of health science, research, management and administration. DORIS ATIBINYE DOTIMI is an Associate Professor of Community Health and the Dean of Health Sciences at the Bayelsa Medical University, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
She is a highly driven, innovative, self-motivated, and outstanding public health and community health specialist with over 25 years of research and teaching experience. She also possesses expertise in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods and vaccination techniques, and working to improve community health in both urban and rural settings with over thirty-four (34) published articles in Local, National, and International Journals. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees in public health and community health, respectively, are from universities in the United States, Kenya, Guyana, and Nigeria (Ph.D, M.P.H, M.Ed. B.PH, HND, DFIHRAN, FAIPH, FHRD).
She is currently a Ph.D. Researcher with special emphasis on maternal health in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Maryam Abacha American University, Kano, Nigeria.
